MOBILE HOSPITAL MISSION TRIP TO SANTIAGO DEL ESTERO 2016

This past July, the Mission Esperanza Foundation volunteers visited Santiago del Estero in a solidarity mission with the Mobile Hospital.

For a week, the volunteers provided free health care services to uninsured people and sought to improve the quality of life of people in need. Sister Theresa and 28 volunteers joined to travel to the most vulnerable areas of Santiago del Estero: Quimili, Pozo del Toba, Villa Brana, Rincon del Saladillo, Bajo Fondo y Las Tinajas

On this mission over 500 people (adults and children) received the health care services provided by the Mobile Clinic, which administered over 1500 different acts of service

Families received food, milk, and clothes.

David Denies joined this mission commitment by donating funds used for travel expenses; including fuel, maintenance, and food for the doctors and volunteers. Some of these funds were provided through the generosity of our clients and guests and we are grateful for the participation of all those involved.
