Our Journey of Support and Sharing Expands: Introducing the Tucumán Hope Project
At David Denies Bird Hunting, we understand the importance of giving back to the local communities we serve, and we are proud o..
The children’s day was celebrated in the FME main headquarters and was available for the children of the seven community centers (soup kitchens) and children who come from depressed rural areas.
DD hired 10 buses to transport over 1200 kids to the event. Children were picked up from the 7 dining rooms DD support. Also many kids from rural areas joined us from other meeting points.
The event started with the arrival of over 1500 happy faces at 10am, when over 120 volunteers made different activities available during the day, helping with lots of tasks.
Every child was provided sandwiches, orange juice and desert for lunch.
The rest of the day, games were organized plus a musical and a circus show that was the main event. After the games chocolate milk and cookies were served.
Around 6pm bags of goodies and toys were given to every child before their departure.
DD was the main donor of this important day. The economic support provided by DD covered all transportation for children’s and volunteers, the circus show, video recording, toys, bags, food and drinks.
