Mobile Clinic Project — Bringing Health and Hope to Rural Argentina

A Moving Force for Good

For more than two decades, the Misión Esperanza Foundation has brought essential medical care, education, and nutrition to rural families. Its Mobile Clinic—a fully equipped, four-office hospital on wheels—conducts ten missions per year, reaching more than 5,000 people annually across Córdoba and Santiago del Estero with volunteer specialists known as The Doctors of Hope.

As lodge owners and long-term partners, David Denies has contributed equipment and ongoing logistics—fuel, maintenance, meals—so the clinic can reach isolated communities. Today, the Mobile Clinic faces two critical upgrades to expand safe, continuous care:

  • Dental Care Expansion
Upgrade equipment and diagnostics to increase capacity and treat more complex conditions (new instruments, imaging/X-ray, suction/vacuum, lighting, and essentials for sterilization and safety).
    Estimated budget: USD 23,567.

  • Generator Set (Powering the Mission)
Add a continuous-duty, 40–44 kVA generator set with weather-proof and sound-attenuated enclosure to power sensitive medical devices (X-ray, vacuum pumps, ultrasound, lab equipment) in places without grid access or during outages.
Planned spec: G.E. 40/44 kVA FIAT FPT R24MANSO1.40A with outdoor and soundproof cabins.
Why it’s costly: unlike a household generator, a medical mission unit must deliver stable voltage and frequency, low harmonic distortion, high reliability under heat and dust, quiet operation near patients, and safety compliance—all factors that significantly increase cost compared to consumer models.
    Estimated budget: USD 21,430.

Our responsibility doesn’t end at the lodge gate. The same communities that welcome our guests—and provide the chefs, field staff, guides, and maintenance teams who power exceptional stays—deserve reliable access to health, dignity, and opportunity.

As these projects move forward, we’ll be sharing photos, brief updates, and real stories from the field—so every donor can see the direct impact of their contribution. All communications will be coordinated by Gisela Cristini, our Social Impact Director, who oversees each stage from funding to installation.

Each mission carried out by the Mobile Clinic represents thousands of lives touched and communities strengthened. By supporting this project, you help ensure that medical care, dignity, and hope continue to reach those who need them most.
