Manager's report |
Holiday cheers to all of you. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
2006 is over having been extremely successful and we await 2007 with the same high spirits.
A brief resume of our past dove season. shows us great abundance of birds with not too favorable weather conditions.
Our winter was long, dry and very mild, almost seven months without any rain, and our spring season began with very warm temperatures, and finally towards the end of November we got our first rainfall. However this did not seem to affect the shooting or even the breading of the doves, as a matter of fact, the volume has steadily increased, which ensures us a promising beginning for our next season.
As I mentioned before the rain has provided us with abundant water. Crops are well on their way guaranteeing sufficient food for the oncoming hatches.
Going to another subject, I must mention the success of our new lodge La Dormida to which we have added one more single room, which now allows us a total capacity of 9 guests. We have made some new interior changes which I'm sure those of you who already visited will appreciate. Pica Zuro is undergoing important renovations, including an outdoor hot tub, that will certainly renew everybody's energy, and which I'm sure you will enjoy after a long day out in the dove fields.
Both lodges will be welcoming you, as usual, with the exquisite cuisine a la carte, and our, now famous, variety of argentine wines. Not to forget the great "asados" in the field.
As, I'm sure, you read in my previous report we have increased our gun stock, and now have many more available for your use.
I must now remind you that we will be expecting you all at our booth at the SCI Show in Reno. Be sure to visit us late January.
Hope this will enthuse you on your next visit to Cordoba.
See you soon.
Robin. |
