We started the season with rains heavy enough to allow us to finish the season with a great water level for our hunting area. Although the small ponds were almost dry by mid July, we were still able to provide fantastic duck hunts in the remaining ponds.
The season started off pretty dry but we didn’t have long to wait for the rain to fill up our duck ponds and treat us to a beautiful green landscape.
Due to the arrival of the first winter frosts and cold fronts, Pigeons are better concentrated, making it much easier for us to reach our daily bag limits.
It was Los Crestones first season and we are now happy to say that despite the drought, we managed to provide exceptional duck hunts all throughout the season.
